MyOwnRealEstate.com provides real-time, Web-based property management services to
property owners and management companies. The company's Software-as-a-Services offering
to bring efficiency to property management and improves communications between property
managers and their tenants.
The company was founded in 2004, and has offices in San Jose, California and technical
research development in Taipei, Taiwan.
Team
Te Chao (Echo) Cheng, CEO
Echo founded MyOwnRealEstate.com to solve the challenges she experienced firsthand
as a property owner and manager for nearly two decades. Echo started her career
as a programmer at Indiana University at Bloomington, Indiana, and had been developing
complex computing applications for more than 20 years in both the US and Taiwan.
Echo developed MyOwnRealEstate.com to satisfy her need for an end-to-end solution
that provides critical information to property owners, accounting and service-delivery
tools to property managers, and communication tools between landlords and tenants.
Mahler Chou, Chief Technical Officer
Mahler is the Chief Technical Officer of MyOwnRealEstate.com responsible for the
product architecture and development. He has over 20 years programming experience,
and has lead and managed development teams for more than 10 years experience. He
specializes in database design and development and object-oriented technology.
Amy Yang, Chief Operating Officer
Amy graduated from TamKang University with degree of library science. She began
her career 20 years ago as a system analyst, and has since held leadership management
positions in human resources, IT systems, and business operations. Amy's IT experience
has allowed her to be a significant contributor to the development of the MyOwnRealEstate.com
system.
