What does MORE Management cost to use?

MORE Management is free and MORE Advance is highly affordable. Sign up for the service and manage your rental units for free! Then, if you decided to use Tenant Portal; Landlord Portal; Portfolio Graph; Tax Preparation etc. pay only $29.99 per month to manage up to 25 rental units. For every rental unit added over 25, pay only $1.00 per unit per month.

What is “cloud computing”?

According to InfoWorld, “Cloud computing…(is) a way to increase capacity or add capabilities on the fly without investing in new infrastructure, training new personnel, or licensing new software. Cloud computing encompasses any subscription-based or pay-per-use service that, in real time over the Internet, extends IT's existing capabilities”.

Why was MORE Management created as a cloud computing service?

MORE Management was built as a web-based, cloud computing software service for a few reasons. First and foremost, the My Own Real Estate team wanted to make the system as accessible as possible for the product’s users. Since the product “lives in the cloud,” no software downloads or licenses are necessary. This means that use of the product is not tied to specific computers. Users can be on any computer, anywhere, and be able to login.

Secondly, cloud computing affords a high level of responsiveness to user requirements and product suggestions. The My Own Real Estate development team can respond faster to users’ product support and enhancement requests because the software is centrally located.

Thirdly, since the software is not stored on users’ computers, if there is a natural disaster or fire at a user’s office, all client data will be secure because it is located off premises and backed up.

Lastly, as a cloud computing solution, MORE Management is more affordable for users. Clients need not purchase any software licenses, buy new servers or pay additional IT personnel to help install and manage the system. All users have to do is log onto the web-based system with an ID and password to begin to use the service.

How many people can use the service at my company?

There is no limit to the number of people who can use the service at your company. A master account will be automatically set up for you when you sign up for MORE Management. This account allows you to invite as many employees, colleagues, tenants and landlords as you’d like to use the service. You’ll also be able to set access rights for each person, granting them permissions that determine what information they’ll be able to view when they use the service.

What is the Landlord Portal?

Property managers can invite their client landlords to access the Landlord Portal. Each landlord receives a unique ID and password that gives him/her access to all of the information about his/her property.

What is the Tenant Portal?

Property managers can invite their tenants to use the Tenant Portal. Each tenant will get a unique user ID and password that allows them view their personal rental data.

What can my tenants see when they log into the Tenant Portal?

If you choose to give your tenants access to MORE Management, they’ll only be able to see their rent histories and status information about work requests that they have submitted.

Can I invite people to use MORE Management but limit their access to certain information?

Yes, MORE Management let’s you invite as many people as you want to use the system at no extra charge. When you set up the invitations, you assign permissions that determine the types of actions your team members can conduct on the system. For example, you can limit your Maintenance Engineer to only having access to work requests.

How do I load my property management data into MORE Management?

The My Own Real Estate team works with you to load your property data into MORE Management. We take this personalized approach so that we can be sure that each client’s property information is inputted to their satisfaction. Please contact to discuss how this process will work for your company.

Is my data safe?

Yes, your property data is safe and protected. Every day My Own Real Estate backs up our clients’ property management information. Backups are done to multiple remote servers located in different countries. This approach ensures that your valuable data will never be at risk to the potentially devastating impact of a natural disaster or fire.

Can I save a copy of my property management data on my computer?

Yes, you can easily download property and landlord profile information onto your local computers.

Will my data be private?

Yes, your data is completely private. My Own Real Estate follows its Privacy Policy and does not access clients’ property management data. We do not sell any client’s data either. For more information, please review our Privacy Policy.
